These massive redwood sized trees have been submerged and preserved in swamp land for 30,000-60,000 years. This timeless wood amazingly doesn't rot or petrify. It's finished surface swirls and flows like the surface of the sun. This extremely strong and durable wood is symbolic of the union that these rings celebrate.
