Hello, I'm Tyler, the owner and sole craftsman of Grown Rings. That beam on my shoulder is 1920s Douglas Fir, and that crazed look in my eye is reclaimed-wood-fever. I rescued this 100 year old Douglas Fir beam from a historic 1920s Los Angeles hotel and gave it a new future. Douglas Fir, also known as Oregon, has an amazing history in the United States as an all around, can-do-anything wood. First, Tyler is AMAZING. He is so responsive, I can see why he has so many great reviews. The ring came in, and it was beautiful. My fiance loves it. We had a tight schedule before the wedding and not only was Tyler able to accommodate our needs, but he was so communicative throughout the process. I was unsure of the size I needed, and he mailed me 3d copies of various sizes to make sure I got exactly what I needed. The ring came with 2 weeks to spare.
